How to create Zoom meetings

As you create or update events from within Rise, you can choose Zoom as a video conferencing option.

After saving the event, Rise will asynchronously call Zoom to create a new link and add it the the conference details of the event.

The event’s title is synced to Zoom as topic so it’s easy to find even in your Zoom Dashboard. Additionally whenever you change the meeting’s password or topic in Zoom, it will also be synced to Rise by listening to Webhook events for updated and deleted meetings.

What type of Zoom meetings we create

Rise creates scheduled Zoom meetings when you schedule single events, and recurring Zoom meetings with no fixed times when creating recurring events.

Passwords

Meetings in Rise are protected with a secure one-time PIN. If Use Personal Meeting ID (PMI) when scheduling a meeting is enabled in your Zoom Profile Settings, Rise will use the stable PMI and passcode when adding a Zoom link to a meeting. If it is off, the passcode is generated by Rise according to your Zoom admin's passcode complexity requirements.
